Four Leaves Park Ridge. NJ nj

 Hey everyone. This place has been lauded a a great pl place for food n drinks.   We arrived at our rez time and found parking easy. Downstairs is great for watching TV and sitting at the bar in a loud environment. We sat upstairs in the back and it was quiet compared to the rest of the place. The waitress seemed uninformed and disconnected and didn’t know about the draft beer choices or other things we asked her about. We ordered the calamari and I ordered a burger and Karen ordered a steak both medium rare and we ordered the Parmesan onion rings. The meat was perfectly cooked. All was excellent except the calamari…. It was rubbery and the coating was falling off.  The manager came by and spoke to us and took the calamari off the bill since we didn’t like it. That was appreciated

Overall  it was a thumbs up. We will go back again.

Whining and Dining in the Big Apple

 We’re reinventing an old blog we hosted back in the early 2000’s. My wife and I sampled exquisite meals at eating establishments in Manhattan. The food was fantastic back then and we sampled meals at numerous restaurants each presenting their individual fortes of culinary delights. We’re not done eating and strive to inform everyone of the best food out there. We’re expanding our reviewing area to northern NJ since we moved from Manhattan.
